Advisory Board | Operating Principles for Impact Management

The Impact Principles Advisory Board advises the Secretariat on the strategy, implementation, and evolution of the Impact Principles. Comprised of senior leadership representatives of Signatory organizations, it provides advice on matters relating to our programs, annual budget, strategic plan, host relationship and support and growth of the Signatory base. Advisory Board members also work individually to promote the Impact Principles as the global standard for integrity in impact management.

Advisory Board members are elected by a vote of the Signatory community, and elections are held every two years. Members serve four-year terms and can be elected for two consecutive terms. In addition to the elected members, the Secretariat’s host (the Global Impact Investing Network) and original host (the International Finance Corporation) are eligible to serve on the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board may also elect an independent member or observer. The Advisory Board is chaired by a Convenor, who presides over the meetings of the Advisory Board.
